                    Since the first reports of cases from Wuhan, a city in the Hubei Province of China, at the end of 2019, cases have been reported in all continents. Globally, over 500 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported.

Transmission

                                    The virus can spread from an infected person's mouth or nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe.

It can also spread by direct and indirect method;

                Air-borne, Vehicle-borne, Vector-borne

Symptoms

                Possible symptoms include;

• Fever or Chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle and Body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion and runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

Prevention

• Always wash hands that are visibly soiled.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Practice good respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes or coughing/sneezing into your elbow.
• Wear face mask in public indoor spaces 
• Maintain at least six feet of distance between yourself and others.
• Avoid large gathering.
• Socialize outdoors.
•  Get vaccinated and boosted as soon as you are eligible.
